Research Notes

On the way between Spokane and Seattle I saw a wind farm, which I did not take a picture of--motoring on, I often did not stop. Coming up to Seattle I saw the emerging skyline, which was actually ugly on the mountains. A floating bridge is crossed upon which bicyclers can travel from one side of King County to the other. I found that out from Diedre who I spoke with at the County Council Members Office, King County. We discussed County government, temp agency, and humanitarian focus of Seattle. At the City Office I spoke with the IT Director regarding the differences in private and public sector. I then went to look at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, look at only, since it was indeed a private compound, soon to be in a more public place with great architecture in the middle of the city. After driving by I noticed the severely charming houseboat area and luckily became engaged in conversation with a houseboat resident before one of the houseboats caught on fire. See picture below.
